Discovery of Daily Operations
The goal of this project was to create a safer alternative to in-pantry shopping that ultimately consisted of two major parts. Users of all backgrounds can conveniently place contactless pickup and delivery orders via a modern eCommerce experience. Meanwhile, robust pantry administration capabilities allow IMPACT staff to access multiple pantries across multiple organizations—managing visual customization, product inventory, volunteers, orders, fulfillment, and family preferences.

The latest addition to the digital fleet: a virtual visit application. A virtual consultation saves both patients and doctors valuable time, not to mention the various other benefits telehealth brings to the table—especially during a pandemic.

Transforming Data into Safety Insights
We always love working with local Des Moines clients, so when our friends over at MākuSafe needed a dashboard refresh, we were excited to partner with them. The MākuSafe solution combines innovative wearable technology with a robust safety management software plaform—MākuSmart. MākuSafe was founded in 2016 with the mission to improve worker health, safety, and productivity while reducing incidents and mitigating workplace hazards and risk exposure.

Project Details
MākuSafe has been running a pilot program over the last few years, collecting plenty of feedback and direction from their early-adopting customers. Safety managers loved the workforce data and insights at their fingertips but were creating their own patterns for recording hazards and tracking their status. The goal of this project was
to reimagine a dashboard that empowered safety managers to have a complete, robust and intuitive workflow for managing a facility.

Corporate brochure print for Cirque Du Soleil Group
Having supported Cirque du Soleil’s marketing director in a previous role within business aviation, Design Inc. was approached to provide artwork, brochure print & distribution services for the latest corporate brochure for the Cirque Du Soleil Group. This was a 40pp A4 publication created to showcase its global presence. The brochure had been
designed by another agency across the pond and Design Inc was initially responsible for ensuring it was set up correctly for print. This involved a full ‘flight-check’ – checking all imagery, fonts, size, bleed, etc etc.

Project Details
Once the artwork was finalized and approved, this was then passed across to our print team along with a full brief & spec. The brochure was to be printed lithographically onto good quality stock. We had previously agreed the covers would be printed onto 350gsm uncoated stock and the text pages onto 200gsm (also uncoated). In addition, we added a matt lamination to the outer covers for extra protection, and weight and to provide a better feel. Moreover, the publication was perfectly bound with a branded spine. in all, 1000 of the brochures were printed and distributed to ten separate locations across the UK and Europe.

The current website is the second-generation freight & logistics website Design Inc has delivered to this client with the original site being created for them many years ago.

The new mobile-first logistics website was built on the WordPress platform with a customised WordPress content management system (CMS). The design style is fresh, using parallax scrolling to ensure the presentation is efficient and engaging. All portraying the company as the market leader within this niche business. goods as well as ensure clients’ accounts could be managed seamlessly.

Project Details
Having worked with the client to create a full audit of functionality requirements, we were able to look into different platforms and found that WordPress would work best here. And, whilst the designers were putting together some creative suggestions, we worked closely with the client to build a full inventory database and content management solution which couple with their stock control CRM through the build of a dedicated API. The EC Products’ e-commerce website benefits from mobile-first technology, SEO, CMS, database, API. Furthermore, we provide ongoing web maintenance and dedicated hosting.

Moneymailme is a project that was already partly developed when it came to us. It’s never easy to work on somebody else’s code. We had a brief time to familiarize ourselves with it and start developing additional features. Security, fluency and scalability are essential for a platform with hundreds of thousands users.
